Why Donate?

At Project ComeBack, our horses may not have traditional "jobs," but they’re doing something far more meaningful: helping people heal. Through our programs, rescued horses play a vital role in the healing journey of veterans and others seeking connection, confidence, and peace.

We believe in transparency and trust. When you donate to Project ComeBack, you know exactly where your support is going: directly to the care and well-being of the horses. Your contributions fund feed, medical care and maintenance, enrichment, and the resources needed to give our herd the life they deserve.

Many of the horses who arrive at our sanctuary come from abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Some have never known kindness. Here, they’re not pushed or re-homed, they're given the time and freedom to just be.

We keep our community closely connected through regular updates on social media. You’ll get to know the horses by name, learn their quirks, follow their progress, and witness the quiet, powerful transformations that happen here every day.

When we fundraise for specific needs, like emergency vet care or to rescue a specific horse, any extra donations go right into our general fund to support the continued care of the entire herd. Every donation, big or small, helps us carry out our mission, one that supports both horses and humans on their path to healing.

Want to do more? You can sponsor a horse, join our monthly donor circle, or simply help spread the word. Because here at Project ComeBack, second chances aren’t just given, they’re lived.
