Opal arrived alongside Sable, her quiet presence a steady comfort in the storm they both came from. Like Sable, Opal’s story is largely a mystery. We don’t know what her past held, only that it left its mark, she’s in rough shape and clearly hasn’t known the gentleness she deserves.

But even without a backstory, Opal’s spirit speaks volumes. She’s observant, grounded, and carrying the kind of quiet strength only a mule can. We’re giving her the time and space to settle in, heal, and rediscover life on her own terms.

While we may not know where she’s been, we do know where she is now: safe, seen, and finally home.
